Fees & Rebates
Private Practice Clinic
We offer private practice speech pathology services for children. These services are delivered by our experienced speech pathologists and attract industry standard rates of $193.99 per hour for most services, and $97 per hour for travel.
Initial appointments are $250 and include screening, background information gathering, goal setting and a brief report; if further assessment is recommended this will be discussed with you.
Ongoing therapy sessions are available in 30, 45 or 60 minute formats, with any planning/resources or travel costs in addition.
Reports, client related clinical activities, and travel
Non face-to-face client related clinical activities that take longer than 15 minutes (e.g., report writing, client related meetings etc) and travel time are billed at the same rate as client facing clinical activities. If applicable, these charges are discussed with clients ahead of time.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
We are able to see NDIS participants who are either plan managed or self-managed.
Medicare Rebates
Speech pathology services may be eligible for a Medicare rebate under the Chronic Disease Management Plan for up to 5 sessions per calendar year. If you are eligible, these plans must be obtained from your GP prior to attending the initial consultation. Your Medicare rebate can be claimed directly at our clinic.
The new Medicare M10 pathway may help eligible children and young people under 25 access rebates for speech pathology assessment and therapy sessions for stuttering, speech sound disorders (including articulation, phonological disorder, childhood apraxia of speech and dysarthria) and cleft lip/palate. With a referral from your GP, paediatrician or specialist, families may be able to access up to 8 assessment sessions and 20 therapy sessions before age 25, with Medicare rebates available for each session. Please speak with your GP to see whether your child may be eligible under the M10 referral pathway.
Private Health Insurance
We are pleased to provide the necessary invoice receipts for Private Health Insurance rebate claims. We are not able to process Private Health Insurance rebates at this time. It is your responsibility to ensure you are covered for our services, prior to booking your first appointment.
